Examination appointments are regular check-ups, involving a thorough examination of all teeth, gum pockets, and soft tissue.  The face and neck may also be palpated for detecting infections or cancer screening.

The dentist will note and explain any findings, including caries (cavities), state of health of your gums, abnormal wear of your teeth, jaw/joint problems, or impacted wisdom teeth. For optimal dental health, we recommend getting a check-up at least every 12 months.
